VoicePaper is built privacy-first. Your journal — your voice, your words, your photos — stays on your device by default and is processed on-device.
Microphone access is used only to record your voice when you tap record. Speech-to-text transcription runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Speech framework — your audio is never uploaded to us or any third party.
Emotion and keyword analysis is performed locally with Apple's built-in Natural Language framework. Your entries are not sent anywhere to generate insights or AI summaries.
If you turn on iCloud sync, your entries are stored in your own private iCloud account under your Apple ID, managed by Apple. We have no access to that data. Sync is off by default; without it, your journal stays only on this device. You can disable it or remove iCloud copies anytime in your device's iCloud settings.
Photos you add to an entry are stored with your journal on your device (and in your iCloud if sync is on). We do not upload them anywhere else.
You can delete any entry inside the app, or remove everything by deleting the app. If iCloud sync was enabled, manage or delete those copies in your device's iCloud settings.
Subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details.
The optional Face ID lock is handled by the system. We never see or store your biometric data.
VoicePaper is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

絮语日记把你的隐私放在第一位。你的日记——你的声音、你的文字、你的照片——默认只留在你的设备上，并在设备端完成处理。

订阅与一次性永久买断由 Apple 通过 App Store 处理，我们不会接触或存储你的支付信息。
可选的 Face ID 锁由系统处理，我们绝不会看到或存储你的生物识别数据。
絮语日记不面向 13 岁以下儿童，也不会有意收集他们的信息。
